Market Master Report October, 31, 2009

Saturday was a great day at the Farmers Market. The weather was around 60 degrees, so it was well enough for all the adults who came to the market and the children that came for the 11th Annual Pumpkin Palooza. There were approximately 700 in attendance on Saturday. The children were provided with pumpkins they decorated for a contest and the children also came in some wonderful costumes. The costumes were just all so good we couldn't pick a winner, so they were all winners in our book. Make sure you are here for our next 12th Annual Pumpkin Palooza. We also had 15 vendors at the market and the following items were available for purchase:

Jackie Thomas- sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and apples
Sabrina Fleenor- beef, pork, pumpkins
Herman Hicks- turnips, greens
Kathryn Curewitz- canned goods
Barbara Bailey- handmade crafts
